Position : Payroll Analyst

Job Description :

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: •Responsible for the entire audit all weekly & biweekly payroll related functions of the department. Including but not limited to payroll keypunch, gross to net, Worker’s Compensation audits, union dues bills and union benefits, also audit management benefit bills like the Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, Flex Spending, Medical and 401k payments. •Accurately key all payroll related dates necessary to process and meet appointment schedules •Keep abreast of the payroll processing system and changes in wage and tax laws, and corresponds with federal, state and local tax agencies on behalf of our clients in problem situations •Responsible for payroll data entry including salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocations and employee deductions and to set schedules •Financial Audits, 5500 •Review and schedule audits to ensure that each area (described above) is audited in a timely manner; initiate spot audits when necessary •Ensure that audit procedures for automated systems are developed, including internal computer checks and balances as required •Research union notices •Assist Corporate Accounting Department with request & projects as needed •Oversee the coordination of the internal audit program with outside examiners and auditors KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: •PAYCHEX and Union exp. Required •Education - Bachelors degree in business related field •Professional Experience: 5 years to 10+ years experience and/or formal training in accounting, auditing, and regulatory compliance and reporting •Relevant Experience: Banking, other financial institution, public accounting, regulatory agency •Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing •Requires appropriate interpersonal skills

Position : PC Technician / Help Desk Support

*Requires 2 or more years experience in a corporate environment, supporting end users’ PC Desktops and software. Familiarity with all versions of Windows, TCP/IP Networking and MS-Office 1997/2000/2003/2007 components (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Exchange, Outlook) is also required. Knowledge of Trackit/footprints is a plus. *This position encompasses two major areas of responsibility as indicated below. Approximately 75% will be spent in either our Queens location or our Midtown location, while the remaining 25% of the workweek will be in direct support of our New Jersey site and all other remote sites (all in the Tri-State area, within 30 mile radius). Accordingly, a reliable car and drivers license are required. *Duties include, but are not limited to: §Front-line end-user Help Desk, incident reports and follows-ups §Coordinate work with other Help Desk support personnel §Repair and upgrade of PCs and peripherals §Installation and setup of PC software and Companies-specific applications §Help maintain on-site inventory of Equipment and Supplies §Perform preventative maintenance of Printers and other Network Equipment §Perform and help maintain backups of certain critical PCs §Help maintain inventory of installed software and license metering §Prepare for, and help implement the company-wide upgrade of PC software components

Job Description :

Receptionists needed. Ideal candidate should have at least one year experience answering a multiple line switchboard, in a front desk environment. Candidate must be articulate with great verbal and written communication skills. Will be helping out with general office duties so must be able to multi-task and manage time spent on each project. Knowledge of Microsoft word & excel preferred.
